Mission Statement
To have the privilege to teach children God’s Word in a fun and exciting environment so they will have the opportunity to grow and develop following in the footsteps of Jesus Christ.
Purpose Statement
Children’s Ministry is to help children and their families grow in their relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Each and every one of God’s little children, from the nursery through 5th grade needs a safe, caring and loving environment so that they can begin to learn and understand spiritual truths. In Psalm 127:3 God instructs us that our children are a gift from Him. Our church takes this God-given trust seriously. Our Children’s Ministry provides a comprehensive ministry to our children and their families. Our prayer and desire is that each child who attends First Southern Baptist Church will come to a place in their life where they will accept Christ as Savior and Lord and continue to grow stronger in their walk with God.
