Hello, I’m Jacob Allee the Student Pastor here at First Southern Baptist Church of Junction City. Our student Minstry here is known as the B.O.M.B. SQUAD. The word B.O.M.B. stands for “Because Of My Belief” which is the key phrase to our core values as a student ministry. Our core values are as follows:
Because Of My Belief that the Bible is God's Word I will submit myself to it's authority. Because Of My Belief that Jesus is our God and Savior I will die to myself and live for Him. Because Of My Belief that prayer is powerful I will pray for anything and anyone that needs it. Because Of My Belief that the gospel message is the only hope for people's salvation, I will share Jesus with those around me. Because Of My Belief that the church (other Christians) is the body of Christ, I will forsake myself to serve other's just like Christ did.
We believe that the gospel of Jesus Christ is the only hope for man to be saved from his sin and enter eternal life. Through dedication to God, the Bible, and fellow believers The B.O.M.B. SQUAD is bringing the explosive power of the gospel of Jesus Christ to Junction City, KS and to the furthest corners of the earth.
Through hard work, Bible study, and participation, students have the opportunity to earn achievements and gain higher ranks within the B.O.M.B. SQUAD, earning prizes, special trips, and leadership status within the group as a reward for their commitment to live out the values of the B.O.M.B. SQUAD.
