Only God can transform a sinner into a disciple. But He invites His disciples to join Him in His work. Our church balances five key functions: evangelism, Bible study, ministry, fellowship, and worship. Disciple making occurs through all these functions.
Evangelism is simply sharing the good news that God offers forgiveness to all who surrender and trust in His Son Jesus, who died in our place to reconcile us to God, and lives forever as our Lord & Savior.
Bible-study is reading & applying God’s written revelation of Himself and His purposes.
Ministry is caring for and meeting physical and spiritual needs. It’s one way of “Loving in the Spirit’s power”.
Fellowship is sharing resources and relationships. It’s another way of “loving in the Spirit’s power”.
Worship is giving God praise for who He is and what He has done.
