Come and Worship!

We would love to have you come and join us for worship!  If you are looking to visit, we'd encourage you to join us for our corporate worship service Sunday mornings at 10:30AM.  In our opinion, this is the most important gathering we have as a church.  Below are some common questions people have when visiting a church for the first time.

When and Where?

Sundays Mornings at 10:30AM

1220 W. 8th St, Junction City, KS

Where do we park?

There is parking available in our upper lot, as well as behind our church (assessable from the West side of the building).  You may enter through the back basement entrance or the front doors up top.

What should I wear?

We have no formal dress code and those who attend dress in the full range from formal to casual.  We desire to dress in a way that is honoring to God, but leave the specifics up to your conscience.

What kind of music do you sing?

Our desire is to sing in obedience to the Scriptures, "Psalms, Hymns and Spiritual Songs" (Eph. 5:18-19, Col. 3:16).  We sing out of a hymnal, "Hymns of Grace," which has a great collection of robust classic and contemporary hymns.  Additionally, we include the singing of Psalms in our services with printed handouts in the bulletin.  Psalm singing used to be a staple in the church's worship, yet has fallen out of practice in the modern era.  We are seeking to bring back the glorious practice of singing the inspired hymnal of Scripture.  We do our best to pick songs each week that emphasize and encourage congregational singing, as opposed to just listening to the song leaders up front.

Do you have Children's Church?

As a church we strongly value and teach on the importance of children being involved in the corporate worship service.  Thus, we encourage families to remain together in worship while at church.  For nursing mothers, we have a room at the back of our sanctuary with audio and video of the service.  Additionally, we have an optional Nursery most Sunday's for children up to four years old.  With this said, we welcome babies and toddlers into the service and encourage parents to bring them in as soon as they're ready.

While we celebrate family-style worship, we also see the value in particular forms of age-targeted discipleship.  Thus, we have Sunday School classes for children up to fifth grade.  If you'd like to have them participate, please come at 9:30AM, drop them off and then join us for adult Sunday School (which includes grades 6-12).
